Vidura College, an established Independent National Buddhist School in Sri Lanka, is seeking qualified and experienced Primary School Teachers to join our dynamic team. 🏫Available Teaching Positions

  • Grade 1 to 5 Primary School Teachers
  • Subjects: General Subjects including ICT

📋Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualifications:
    • Certificate, Diploma, or Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education
    • First Degree from the Open University of Sri Lanka, state or UGC-approved foreign universities, or from any reputable institute registered with the Tertiary Education Authority
    • Teacher Training Certificate from NIE or any recognized College of Education
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a reputable school in Sri Lanka, preferably teaching the National Curriculum in English medium
    • Experience teaching British examinations is a plus
    • Foreign exposure in teaching is an added advantage
  • Additional Qualities:
    • Passionate about teaching and dynamic
    • Strong leadership qualities and classroom management skills
    • Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken)
    • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
    • Positive attitude and commitment to the school’s values
    • Experience in sports or aesthetic activities will be an added advantage
  • Age: Between 23 to 45 years

Working Hours

  • Regular working hours: 7.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when required
